Virgin Atlantic CEO: We see record demand from the US and more affluent pax in the next six months

Virgin Atlantic Airways CEO Shai Weiss, speaking at the IATA AGM, stated (03-Jun-2024) in terms of its outlook for the next six months, the airline is seeing "record demand from the US" and "record demand in what we call premium upper class, so the more affluent passengers". Mr Weiss acknowledged: "In economy, we're seeing a bit of less robust demand", adding: "but a strong summer overall".
