View of IASC to new market entrants is to 'say yes, unless we have a reason to say no'

International Air Services Commission (IASC) chair Ian Douglas, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, said (04-Aug-2016) the view of the IASC is that they "say yes, unless we have a reason to say no." Mr Douglas explained that if a carrier comes to the IASC and says they want to access this market, then their view is that competition is good and it should be permitted to enter.
