Vietnam's Prime Minister approved the investment policy for Sun PhuQuoc Airways, with Sun Group stating the airline would use a hub-and-spoke network centred on Phu Quoc International Airport. The group highlighted Phu Quoc's visa exemption policy as a factor supporting its ambitions to attract both domestic and international travellers, including charter services to major Asia Pacific cities such as Japan, South Korea and China1.
