Vietnam's Ministry of Construction anticipated seven new airports entering operation by 2030, lifting system capacity to as much as 220 million passengers p/a and taking Vietnam to 32 airports (15 international, 17 domestic).1 The Ministry also approved multiple 2021-2030/2050 airport master plans, including Nha Trang Cam Ranh (4E; 19 million passengers p/a by 2030) and Van Don (4E; 2.5 million by 2030, 20 million by 2050).2 3 CAAV also sought to transfer Buon Ma Thuot Airport's management to the Central Airport Authority before 01-Dec-2025.4
