Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction submitted to Prime Minister Le Minh Hung a draft adjustment of the national airport system plan for 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, reflecting multiple local proposals for new airports and revised classifications.1 The national plan framework envisaged 31 airports by 2030 and 34 by 2050, with 11 potential airports identified for possible later inclusion.2
