Vietnam Airlines estimates USD72m profit in 1H2016

Vietnam Airlines estimated (24-Jul-2016) total consolidated revenue of VND36,000 billion (USD1.6 billion) and a pretax profit of VND1600 billion (USD71.8 million) in 1H2016, representing 70% of its target for 2016. The airline attributed the results to new developments, taking advantage of growth opportunities, improved service quality and enhanced business efficiency.
