The Gia Binh Airport, recently added to Vietnam's national airport system plan, was previously approved to accommodate one million passengers annually by 2030, increasing to three million by 20501. Additionally, Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha approved a master plan in Jun-2023 for the development of national airports, focusing on major airport investments and gradually upgrading existing ones2. The plan envisions 30 airports by 2030, with a future increase to 33 by 20503.
