VietJet lists on Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange
VietJet Air listed (28-Feb-2017) on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) on 28-Feb-2017, becoming the first airline in Vietnam to list on the exchange. The company has chartered capital of VND30 trillion (USD1.3 billion) at VND90,000 (USD3.95) per share. Capitalisation stands at VND27 trillion (USD1.2 billion), accounting for 1.5% of HOSE capitalisation as of 15-Feb-2017. 24 international investors subscribed to VietJet's offering, including Singapore's sovereign fund GIC, Wellington, Morgan Stanley, Dragon Capital and VinaCapital. The company will become one of the 'VN 30', Vietnam's largest publicly traded companies by market capitalisation. VietJet is also the first Vietnamese company to complete an IPO meeting international standards and practices.
