Venezuela is 'slowly disconnecting from the rest of the world' : IATA

IATA regional VP, the Americas Peter Cerda, speaking at the CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) Venezuela is "slowly disconnecting from the rest of the world." In addition to still owing global airlines USD3.8 billion, the Venezuelan government has "no interest in establishing dialogue with the industry to maintain a healthy aviation environment".
