Delta Air Lines EVP & general counsel Peter Carter, speaking at the CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) US carriers are limited in growth opportunities in the domestic market, so JVs are important in enabling carriers to grow as enterprises. He said the carrier's JVs have been very successful, and are also "really good" for consumers because they lower prices.
