US BTS reports top 10 US airports ranked by Feb-2012 system scheduled enplanement on US airlines
US Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reports (23-May-2012) the following top 10 US airports ranked system (domestic and international) scheduled enplanement on US airlines* in Feb-2012:
- Passenger numbers:
- Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport: 3.2 million, +7.7% year-on-year;
- Chicago O'Hare International Airport: 2.1 million, +10.2%;
- Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport: 2.0 million, +9.0%;
- Denver International Airport: 1.8 million, +2.3%;
- Los Angeles International Airport: 1.8 million, +9.7%;
- Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport: 1.5 million, +5.0%;
- Charlotte Douglas Airport: 1.5 million, +8.5%;
- Las Vegas McCarran International Airport: 1.4 million, +5.9%;
- Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport: 1.3 million, +6.5%;
