US BTS reports 2.9% fall in Jan-2010 passenger airline employment

US Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) stated (16-Mar-2010) US passenger airline employment levels fell 2.9% year-on-year in Jan-2010. Details include:

  • Full time equivalent employee levels: -2.9%;
  • Network: -2.3%;
  • LCCs: +1.4%;
  • Regional: -8.5%.
