US Airways to raise USD53m for aircraft financing

US Airways announced (30-Jun-2011) plans to raise USD53 million for aircraft financing over the next three years. The company plans to issue Class C enhanced equipment trust certificates to raise the financing. The certificates will be distributed through 21-Oct-2014. Goldman, Sachs & Co is acting as structuring agent for the offering. The offering goes along with around USD471 million in Class A and B certificates the company announced it would issue last week. The distribution of those certificates would run from 2016 through 2023.
