Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) of the US Department of Transportation reports (14-Dec-09) the following preliminary financial highlights for the three months ended 30-Sep-09 for 21 US carriers:

• Operating profit/loss: USD685 million;
  • Network: 338 million;
  • LCC: 206 million;
  • Regional: 141 million;
