Ural Airlines revenue up 12% in 1Q2016; net loss of EUR20bn

Ural Airlines reported (13-May-2016) the following financial highlights in three months ended 31-Mar-2016:

• Revenue: RUB7935.7 million (EUR97.1 million), +12.3 year-on-year;
• Profit (loss) from sales: (RUB1755.6 million) (EUR21.5 million), compared to RUB1021.6 (EUR12.5 million) loss in 1Q2015;
• Net profit (loss): (RUB1662.1 million) (EUR20.3 million), compared to RUB1206.4 million (EUR14.8 million) loss in 1Q2015;
• Total assets: RUB14,901.7 million (EUR182.3 million);
• Cash and cash equivalents: RUB321 million (EUR3.9 million);
• Total liabilities: RUB14,630.9 million (EUR179 million).
