United outlined a longer term fleet plan that included 40 A321neo "Coastliner" and 28 A321XLR deliveries (from 50 each on order), plus 119 737 MAXs and 47 787-9s with its "Elevated" interior, targeting 33 Elevated 787-9s by 2028.1 It also planned CRJ450 flying by SkyWest from autumn 2026 and scheduled the first Elevated 787-9 on San Francisco-Singapore on 22-Apr-2026.1
