The UK Department for Transport’s Advanced Fuels Fund awarded GBP63 million to 17 companies, including LanzaJet, to accelerate sustainable aviation fuel production, bringing total investment through the fund to GBP198 million and supporting 1400 jobs1. LanzaJet previously selected Teesside’s Wilton International zone for Project Speedbird, expecting to produce more than 90,000 tonnes of SAF and renewable diesel annually in collaboration with British Airways2.
