Background ✨
The UK Government planned to invest an additional GBP63 million into the Advanced Fuels Fund for 2025/26, supporting SAF producers in regions such as Teesside and Humberside, and confirmed the introduction of a revenue certainty mechanism to encourage investment in SAF projects using non-HEFA technology and feedstocks, following the implementation of its SAF mandate in Jan-20251. New legislative measures were also introduced to underpin the SAF mandate and stabilise ticket prices2.
