Turkish Airlines issues revised 2016 guidance

Turkish Airlines reported (19-Aug-2016) the following highlights of the 2016 revised budget, approved by the board of directors:

Traffic highlights:

• Passenger numbers: 63.4 million;
• Cargo and mail volume: 817,000 tons, +13% year-on-year;
• Available seat kilometres: 174 billion, +13%;
• Load factor: 72% to 74%.

Financial highlights:

• Sales revenue: 9.5 billion (under the assumptions of average 1.11 for EUR/USD, average 3.00 USD/TRY and average jet fuel, including hedge, USD577/ton);
• Fuel consumption: +12%;
• CASK: -5% to 7%;
