Turkish Airlines completed negotiations for 100 firm and 50 option 737 MAX 8 and MAX 10 aircraft, with orders contingent upon finalising terms with CFM International. The airline was also in talks with Rolls-Royce and GE Aerospace, and these orders would double its Boeing fleet. Turkish Airlines aimed to exceed 800 aircraft in its fleet and transition to 90% next generation aircraft by 20331.
