Turkey handles extra 1.8m flights in 2015

Turkey's General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) released (26-Aug-2016) its 2015 Air Navigation Service Provision Annual Report. The report showed Turkey has become Europe's sixth largest market by aviation activity, with Turkish airspace handling an additional 1.8 million flights in 2015. The report also stressed that DHMİ will continue to make new investments in ATM. Spending on ANS/CAN infrastructure and air navigation operations rose better than 15% year-on-year in 2015.
