Travelport highlights the importance of an Asia strategy for airlines
Travelport VP Product & Marketing for Air Commerce Ian Heywood, speaking at CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) "Airlines throughout the world have got to get together their [Asia] strategy. Patience is necessary, [Asia is] not a market that moves at speeds we think," Mr Heywood stated. He explained US airlines have brand recognition in Asia, but "what does that stand for in Asian eyes? Is it the product they want to buy or does it need to improve. Research is very important."
