Tokyo Narita expecting 1.1 million passengers over Japan’s Golden Week

Japan's Tokyo Narita International Airport stated approximately 1.08 million passengers are expected to use the airport during Japan's Golden Week holidays (24-Apr-2010 to 09-May-2010), a 5% year-on-year increase (Kyodo News, 18-Apr-2010). The airport stated an estimated 46,200 passengers will depart from the airport on 29-Apr-2010, with approximately 50,100 to return on 05-May-2010. The most popular destinations include Guam and Hawaii, as well as European countries (subject to flight cancellations).
