Tiger to drop Avalon base: reports

Tiger Airways Australia is expected to drop its Avalon Airport base after it resumes services on 06-Aug-2011 following a 10-week grounding (Canberra Times, 27-Jul-2011). The LCC is expected to concentrate its Melbourne operations at Melbourne Tullamarine.
