Tiger Airways brings forward delivery of five A320s to late 2010/early 2011

Tiger Airways brought forward the delivery of five A320 aircraft, to be delivered in late 2010 and early 2011, instead of 2016 (AFP, 12-Jan-2010). Tiger plans to use the aircraft to further expand in Asia and Australia. The carrier stated Standard Chartered Bank completed a "structured pre-delivery payment financing arrangement" for the five aircraft. Tiger plans to increase its fleet from the current 17 A320s to 68 by Dec-2015.
