Tianjin Airlines' widebody fleet expands to two

Tianjin Airlines announced (14-Dec-2016) its first independently introduced widebody aircraft, an A330-200, arrived at Tianjin Airport on 14-Dec-2016. The aircraft, which is also the carrier's second overall A330, will be used to operate Tianjin-Chongqing-Auckland route in Dec-2016. Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines, the aircraft is configured with 18 business class and 242 economy class seats. Tianjin Airlines is scheduled to take delivery of its third A330 within the week and is expected to take delivery of two more A330s in 2017, expanding its A330 fleet to 10 within five years.
