Thailand's Cabinet approves selection of BBS JV for U-Tapao International Airport project

Bangkok Airways reported (04-Jun-2020) Thailand's cabinet approved the selection of BBS Joint Venture for the public private partnership under the U-Tapao International Airport Project, as well as the delegation of authority to the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Office of Thailand to enter into the agreement with the private party. BBS JV consists of Bangkok Airways, BTS Group Holdings and Sino-Thai Engineering and Construction Company. Bangkok Airways noted the U-Tapao International Aviation Co, a JV company incorporated under the BBS JV agreement, is well equipped to enter into the public private partnership with the EEC office.
