Thai Airways revenue up 6% – financial highlights for 12 months ended 31-Dec-2011:

  • Total costs**: USD6586 million, +13.1%;
    • Fuel: USD2518 million, +35.2%;
    • Labour: USD1022 million, -10.2%;
  • EBITDA: USD567.1 million, -38.7%;
  • EBITDAR: USD746.0 million, -30.1%;
  • Profit (loss) before tax: (USD260.9 million), compared to a profit of USD549.0 million in p-c-p;
  • Net profit (loss): (USD336.1 million), compared to a profit of USD485.9 million in p-c-p;
  • Passenger numbers: 18.4 million, +1.2%;
  • Passenger load factor: 70.4%, -3.2 ppts;
  • Passenger yield: USD 9.06 cents, +7.0%;

  • Cargo load factor: 56.2%, -5.3 ppts;
