Thai Airways pax and cargo traffic down in 4Q2011, yields up in 2011

Thai Airways reports (Jan-2012) the following traffic highlights:

• Three months ended Dec-2011:
  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): -11% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 65%, -8.8 ppts;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): -14%;
  • Cargo load factor: 55.3%, -5.1 ppts;
• 12 months ended Dec-2011:
  • Passenger yield*: USD8.88 cents, +7%;
