Thai Airways revenue down 2% - financial highlights for three months ended 30-Jun-2013:

  • Total operating revenue: THB47,093 million (USD1577 million), -1.8% year-on-year;
    • Passenger and excess baggage: THB38,792 million (USD1299 million), -0.9%;
      • NOK Air: THB1822 million (USD61.0 million);
    • Cargo: THB5903 million (USD197.7 million), -11.7%;
  • Total operating costs: THB49,992 million (USD1674 million), +1.1%;
    • Fuel: THB18,453 million (USD617.9 million), -6.2%;
    • Labour: THB8742 million (USD292.7 million), +12.3%;
  • Operating profit (loss): (THB2899 million) (USD97.1 million), compared to a loss of THB1537 million (USD51.5 million) in p-c-p;
  • Net profit (loss): (THB8439 million) (USD282.6 million), compared to a loss of THB1532 million (USD51.3 million) in p-c-p;
  • Passenger numbers: 5.1 million, +5.1%;
  • Passenger load factor: 70.5%, -4.6 ppts;
