Thai Airways announces route changes for winter 2010-11

Thai Airways announced (11-Aug-2010) its Board acknowledged adjustments to its winter 2010-11 programme, effective 31-Oct-2010 to 26-Mar-2011. The carrier will operate to 61 destinations in 34 countries for a total of 564 weekly flights and 10 domestic destinations for a total of 287 weekly flights, combining to 851 weekly flights. 

  • European routes:
    • Bangkok-Oslo frequency increased to seven times weekly with B777-200ER;
    • Bangkok-Moscow to four times weekly with B777-300;
  • Australian routes:
    • Bangkok-Sydney frequency increased to 18 times weekly with A340-600;
  • Regional routes:
    • To launch daily Bangkok-Tokyo Haneda service;
    • Bangkok-Nagoya frequency increased to 10 times weekly;
    • Bangkok-Fukuoka frequency increased to daily;
    • Bangkok-Kolkata frequency increasd to daily;
    • Bangkok-Mumbai frequency increased to twice daily. [more]
