Australia's Government approved Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport's Master Plan 2045, forecasting more than 72 million annual passengers by 2045 and proposing a domestic-precinct redevelopment to bring domestic, regional and international services into an integrated terminal experience, alongside a five-year environment strategy.1 Sydney Airport handled 42.5 million passengers in 2025 and cited new security lanes and a AUD200 million T2 upgrade, with plans to commence the T2/T3 integrated terminal expansion in 2026.2
