Sydney Airport: "We were delighted this month that Tiger Airways announced its plan to establish a base in Sydney from Jul-2012, which will more than double the number of daily flights. Low cost carriers are driving much of the growth in aviation, and Tiger Airways is leading the charge in domestic Australian travel. Sydney travellers will welcome Tiger's competitive product offering on their return to the Sydney-Coolangatta and Sydney-Brisbane routes, in addition to its existing Sydney-Melbourne services," Kerrie Mather, CEO.
