Suspension of Dana Air's operating licence lifted

Dana Air’s operating licence was reinstated by Nigeria’s Government on 05-Sep-2012 following the completion of a technical, operational and financial audit of the airline, according to local sources including iafrica.com, Business Day, Vanguard and The Nation. Dana Group managing director Jacky Hathiramani said, “we’re very happy about the removal of the suspension and we look forward to resuming operations in the near future.” The airline had been grounded since an accident at Lagos on 03-Jun-2012.
