IATA launched its supporting alliance to regroup stakeholders across the CORSIA ecosystem, aiming to increase availability of 225 million to 250 million CORSIA Eligible Emissions Units by spring 2027 and help countries manage links between nationally determined contributions and CORSIA credit release processes.1 IATA previously warned first-phase (2024-2026) supply was limited, with Guyana the only significant source, and urged host states to issue letters of authorisation to unlock units.2 3
