Stobart Group announces partnership with Ryanair for new base at London Southend

Stobart Group announced (09-Jul-2018) a five year agreement with Ryanair for the carrier to open a base at London Southend Airport. Ryanair is expected to invest GBP300 million in the new hub over the initial five year term of the agreement, which has a further five year extension provision. From summer 2019, Ryanair will operate three aircraft out of London Southend, providing 13 routes to eight European countries with six new destinations. [more - original PR]
