Static strength tests for Mitsubishi Regional Jet completed

Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, via its official newsletter, announced (29-Nov-2016) that it has completed the static strength tests for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ). The final test was completed on 01-Nov-2016, confirming the aircraft is capable of handling up to 1.5 times maximum load. The completion of the testing confirmed that the MRJ airframe has the structural strength required for type certification.
