American Airlines and STARLUX previously filed a joint application with the US Department of Transportation seeking reciprocal blanket codeshare authority, including operational coordination, reciprocal lounge access for eligible premium passengers and frequent flyer cooperation.1 STARLUX also expanded its North American connectivity via an enlarged Alaska Airlines codeshare, adding multiple US cities via Seattle and San Francisco.2
