Spirit Airlines announces new services from Houston Intercontinental, Phoenix Mesa and San Diego

Spirit Airlines announced (28-Aug-2012) the following new services from its focus cities of Houston Intercontinental, Phoenix Mesa and San Diego services from 04-Oct-2012 - see Route Changes for more information:

• Denver-Phoenix Mesa: Daily service from 04-Oct-2012 utilising A319 equipment. According to Innovata, Spirit will compete with Frontier Airlines on the route;
• Houston Intercontinental-Chicago O'Hare: Daily service from 04-Oct-2012 utilising A319 equipment. According to Innovata, Spirit will compete with United Airlines and American Airlines on the route;
• Houston Intercontinental-Las Vegas: Daily service from 04-Oct-2012 utilising A319 equipment. According to Innovata, Spirit will compete with United Airlines on the route;
• San Diego-Portland: Daily service from 08-Nov-2012 utilising A319 equipment. According to Innovata, Spirit will compete with Alaska Airlines on the route.
