SpiceJet owner receives approval for board, name change to Sun Airways

Indian Civil Aviation Ministry cleared the proposal of SpiceJet owner and Sun TV Network chairman Kalanithi Maran's to induct six new members to the airline's board and change the name of the company to Sun Airways (India Aviation, 20-Jun-2010). Mr Maran is confident his appointment will be the last time the airline undergoes a change in ownership.
