South Korea reports record high air traffic, 739,013 movements in 2016

South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport reported (31-Jan-2017) air traffic increased 9.0% year-on-year to 739,013 movements, an average of 2019 movements per day, in 2016. Domestic movement increased 4.4% to 243,975 and international movements increased 12.6% to 448,145 during the period. Flights over Korean airspace increased 2.4% to 46,893.
