Pegasus Airlines completed its acquisition of CSA Czech Airlines and Smartwings Group after receiving all required regulatory approvals, stating Smartwings would continue operating under its brand while maintaining day-to-day operations and customer relationships1. Pegasus Airlines signed the EUR154 million acquisition agreement in Dec-2025, with the transaction to be undertaken by subsidiary Pegasus Europe BV after antimonopoly approval was received2 3. CAPA noted the deal added Central/Eastern Europe and North Africa exposure, shifting Pegasus from reliance on Türkiye4.
