SITA: Airlines see potential in leveraging mobile technology

SITA regional director Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific Jay Youlten, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (08-Aug-2013) emerging hot spots for IT are based around leveraging mobile technology. He noted airlines see this as a priority investment for the upcoming period and that 58% of airlines having a bookable mobile platform at present, with growth expected in this arena.
