Singapore Airlines to launch Singapore-Tokyo Haneda service on 31-Oct-2010

Singapore Airlines reportedly plans to launch twice daily Singapore-Tokyo Haneda service on 31-Oct-2010, making it the first carrier to announce long-haul flights from the previously domestic Tokyo Haneda Airport - see Route Changes Table for more information (Business Traveller, 29-Mar-2010). The carrier's current twice daily service to Tokyo Narita will remain unchanged. Neither Japan Airlines or All Nippon Airways are yet to announce any plans to operate long-haul services from the Tokyo Haneda. The airport plans to open a new fourth runway in late Oct-2010.
