Sharjah records 9.41% growth
UAE's Sharjah International Airport reports passengers traffic up 34% - traffic highlights in 2010 (Khaleej Times, 25-Jan-2011):
- Passengers numbers: 6.3 million, +9.4%;
- Aircraft movements: 65,401, +6.4%;
- Air cargo: 66,665 tonnes, +32.4%.
The airport attributed its growth to the strong growth of homegrown LCC Air Arabia.
