Scoot low fares proposition means 'we can afford to operate at less popular times'

Scoot CFO Long Jian Ng, speaking at the CAPA Airline Fleet & Finance Summit 2016, said (04-Mar-2016) the carrier's value proposition within Singapore Airlines Group sits within its ability to "serve some destinations more profitably," providing Singapore-Jeddah as an example. Mr Ng added: "Because of our low fares proposition we can afford to operate at less popular times, [with utilisation] typically 20% more than a full service carrier."
