Saudi Arabian Government signs 'Multi-Transport Modes Accord For Goods Among Arab Countries'

Saudi Arabian Government announced the signing of a "Multi-Transport Modes Accord For Goods Among Arab Countries", to facilitate greater trade between Arab countries, including air, container, ship and railway transport (Saudi Press Agency, 28-Apr-2010). Meanwhile, International Trade Committee at the Council of Saudi Chambers Vice Chairman, Abdulrahman Al-Juraisi, stated the US is one of the nation's most important trade partners, with Saudi-US exchange worth USD51.5 billion in 2008 and direct US exports to Saudi Arabia expected to rise to USD16.8 billion in 2010.
