At the ICAO 42nd Assembly in Sep/Oct-2025, Saudi Arabia also signed agreements with 17 countries to enhance air transport, regulatory cooperation and connectivity, alongside making financial pledges to ICAO priority activities. The Assembly endorsed a new strategic fund for ICAO, supported by voluntary contributions from multiple states, including Saudi Arabia, to address funding gaps and build capacity in line with ICAO's strategic objectives1 2.
