Ryanair takes delivery of 450th 737-800

Ryanair received (21-Mar-2017) its 450th Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Ryanair COO Mick Hickey said orders for 737-800 and 737 MAX aircraft will enable Ryanair to increase its fleet to 585 aircraft and deliver 200 million passengers p/a by 2024. On average, Ryanair took delivery of 25 737-800s p/a since 1999. The carrier is the largest Boeing operator and 737-800 customer. Ryanair is also the launch customer for the 737 MAX 200.
