Ryanair in discussions on launch of Armenia services

Ryanair CCO David O'Brien announced (21-Aug-2019) the carrier's intent to enter the Armenian market. Ryanair is in discussions with Armenia's Civil Aviation Committee (ACAA) and Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport. Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed the country's willingness to support the work. Mr Pashinyan noted Armenia considers tourism a priority sector with great development potential. ACAA, via its official Facebook account, stated the possibility of Ryanair's launch of services to Armenia in 2020 was discussed at the meeting. [more - original PR - English/Armenian]
